The FIS Cross-Country World Cup returned to the Goms Nordic Center in the Valais high valley from 23–25 January 2026, marking the grand opening of the newly expanded venue. Around 200 of the world's best cross-country skiers competed across three days and six races, from the freestyle team sprint to the 20 km classic mass start. Reliable snow, demanding courses and a packed grandstand made for a true Nordic skiing festival in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
